Our People
John Marsh
Founder / CEO
John is a successful cross-functional executive with experience leading and strengthening finance, accounting, and operations organizations. He has held a variety of executive roles including CFO, VP of Supply Chain and Planning, and EVP of Finance and Operations during his 17-year career. In those roles, John served as an integral part of the leadership team that scaled a medical device company and sold it to a private equity firm for 161M. John led integration efforts and was a part of due diligence on all of the company’s acquisitions.
John started his career with the accounting firm, Ernst and Young in Atlanta, GA, and has worked with both start-ups and a large private equity-owned medical device manufacturer. He leverages his significant mergers and acquisition experience to help entrepreneurs successfully transition to business ownership.
John graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Accounting and holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University. He currently lives in Marietta, with his wife and two daughters.
ChrisTOPHER Smith
Business Broker
Christopher Smith is a previous HVAC business owner who still holds his State of Georgia conditioned air license. Christopher exited his HVAC business in 2006. For over 16 years, Chris has helped companies to stop wasting money, grow their businesses, and exit while staying in control of the process.
Christopher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership from Reinhardt University, a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Colorado State University, and a Graduate Certificate in M&A consulting from Kennesaw State University. Chris is a Licensed Real Estate agent in Georgia, A Certified Exit Planner, and a StoryBrand certified guide.
Christopher truly enjoys helping business owners solve complex problems through business systems, employee development, business logic, data analytics, sales processes, training, consulting, and marketing.
His extensive consulting experience has helped to develop a proven method for turning companies into something remarkable. A business can change your life and make you wealthy when managed correctly.
